Gena & Ben = "Bena"

Before sitting down to share with you Gena and Ben's special day, I had to go to iTunes and get some music. I just didn't feel right working on their images without rockin' out...because that is so Bena. Their first dance was to "Blue and Yellow" by The Used :)

Gena and Ben were married at the base of the Mammoth mountains in Mammoth Lakes, California. The setting was the church camp they both work at throughout the year. The air was crisp (more like freezing), the bride was beautiful, the groom was stylin', and reception was hopin! With the wind chill reaching near freezing temperatures, nothing was stopping this outdoor wedding from happening! Despite the cold, Gena walked down that aisle and married the love of her life. Not even 20 minutes after the ceremony, freezing rain started to fall. So we rushed into the reception and danced the night away!

Thank you Gena and Ben for letting Erin and I capture your special day. We are blessed to have you both as friends and as wonderful examples of Christ-centered love. We hope you had a blast in Mexico!

Mammoth, CA

The day began today at 5am as the alarm clock blared; signaling our eminent departure up North. We arrived in beautiful Mammoth Lakes California just before noon and was greeted by an amazing landscape filled with snow-covered mountains, crisp autumn air, and virtually nobody around! We are blessed to be up here shooting Gena and Ben's wedding tomorrow at Sierra Meadows Ranch. Without a doubt, I know that tomorrow will be amazing...and I can't wait to continue their story...and document their beginning together.
