I can't believe August is almost over, what a whirlwind of amazing weddings and even more amazing people! This past weekend Erin and I had another wedding "double-header" and started it off with Julie and Jon's wedding at the gorgeous grounds of Strawberry Farms in Irvine, CA. If you recall their engagement session, you'll remember that Julie is a rising country star and Jon is the kind-hearted, polite, country gentleman that won her heart! Their wedding was such a fun, touching, and of course country themed event! Complete with a game of corn hole out in front and cowboy boots on each bridesmaid and groomsman; it was a glorious escape in the heart of Orange County! To know these two is to know that there is never a dull moment, and that their love for their family and friends knows no bounds. Julie and Jon, our hope for you both is that the well of your love for one another will be bottomless and that the fun times and joy ahead would be endless. Have a great time in paradise on your honeymoon!! You two are the best ;)
Here are a few from their wedding this past Saturday!

University Bible Church Wedding: Matthew and Allyson are Married!
Lately, more times than I'd like to count. I've had these moments. No, not "senior moments" where I forget what I'm doing or leave my keys in the door...but rather moments where I just sit there and thing "Yikes life is really just flying by!"
It's that time in life when a large number of our friends are getting married. We love it because a large portion of them are gifting us with the honor of shooting their wedding! But on the same token, it drives home that realization that we are indeed moving forward in life and those things we used to talk about as being SO FAR OFF...are suddenly right upon us and happening right before our very eyes!
Matt and Allyson's wedding was such a moment for my lovely fiancée! Erin's known Matt for the past 6 years, and she's known Allyson for the past 3 years! They've grown in the same church family and have been in the same large circle of friends; showing up to shoot the bride and bridesmaids was like hanging with the girls for Erin :)
She knew ALL of the bridesmaids not to mention over half the guests! The whole wedding was a true testament to love and support such a community like that can have! We had so much fun being with old friends and meeting new ones! It was such a touching moment seeing Matt and Allyson see one another for the first time. Matt couldn't keep still he was so excited. When he finally turned around to see his bride, tears filled his eyes as he looked at the woman he would spend his life loving more and more each day; "Woww...." was all he could say.
Matt and Allyson, our hope is that "Wow" factor will only get stronger as the days, months, and years, come and go in the journey of your marriage. You both hold a special place in our hearts and we could not be happier for you!

Perfect 5-star Rating on Project Wedding!
For Erin and I, it can't just be about taking pictures when it comes to wedding photography. This is a day a woman has been dreaming about her ENTIRE life, there has to be a fun, trusting relationship to go along with those amazing photos. We pride ourselves on being the least of a brides worries when she thinks about her day. Come the big day, she knows us, she trusts us, and without a shadow of a doubt knows we will have images she will treasure forever :)
Thank you thank you thank you to our brides and to this bride in particular who took the time to let us know her experience with us; we put our heart into everything we do!
