Hi Everyone!
Wow, I can't believe it's been a month already! But...it's official! Gavin Wade Photographers is now a husband and wife team! How incredible is that?!
First of all, Erin and I need to thank SO many people for their thoughts, prayers, and support as we have such an amazing community of family and friends who have made the whole wedding process stress-free and brought us all together to have what was an unforgettable weekend!
For all of you new to our photography and to who Erin and I are, here is the Reader's Digest version of our story!
Erin and I met on E Harmony two years ago at the behest of our small group leaders at church. Both of us joined it as more of joke mainly just to get them to stop bothering us!
Lo and behold, after just a few weeks, Erin and I were "matched" and our communication began :)
**Cool Sidenote: When Erin signed up, she restricted her matches to a radius of 20 miles. I however...was 90 miles away. Freaky...**
So about 4 months into our relationship Erin and I reached a crossroads in our careers. We were both entrepreneurs with our own businesses but were finding that our hearts were not in it. So it was then we each asked one another "If you could do it allll over again....what would you do?!"
Our answers, were both PHOTOGRAPHY!! And it has been such an incredible journey since. And well before we started our business, we knew that we were the one we wanted to spend our lives with...so we figured...why wait? Let's start now!
And now that we are back from our honeymoon, the gifts have been put away, and the "thank you" cards have been mailed, Erin and I are loving married life and cannot wait for what the coming months and years have in store! 2010 hasn't even began and already we cannot wait!!
We wanted to share a few wedding photos with you! More to come as we sift through the 20,000 images we got from the weekend! We were blessed beyond measure to have David and Luke Edmonson as our photographers. Not only are they our dear friends and inspiration to us as photographers, they are true artists of their craft and we could not have been more in awe of the images they captured! Thank you David and Luke!
We have lots of blogging to catch up on so stay tuned this week as we have LOTS to roll out before Thanksgiving :)
But until then, here are a few photos from the day I married my best friend! (all photos © David and Luke Edmonson)

Lost Canyons Country Golf Club: Laurie and Robbie are Married!
Here we are just 5 days away from OUR wedding! We couldn't be more thankful for the outpouring of love and support from our family and friends =)
ALSO...after months of design and bug fixes, we will be pleased to share with you our new blog upon our return! But more on that later!
Now, on to Laurie and Robbie's fantastic wedding at the picturesque Lost Canyons Golf Club! It was a day filled with wonderful touches of both their personalities. Robbie, being the musician and artist that he is, infused his love for music throughout the day. First with a group of break-dancers for their entrance, a surprise serenade for his new wife (a song he wrote and performed himself), and to top it all off he had a groom's cake made in the likeness of a drum! Love it!
Laurie could not have been more radiant and her dress was stunning. We were fortunate enough to sneak away with these two after the ceremony (one of our favorite times of the day) and got some great shots! Here are some from our day!
Erin got me in my prima ballerina photo skills! Okay, so I posed for this...but still..haha.

Marina Del Rey Wedding: Geoff and Tara!
Geoff and Tara immediately made us their biggest fans from the first millisecond we met them! (We were introduced through our good friend and fellow wedding photographer Henry Chen, thanks Henry!)
Geoff is an event coordinator for Fantasea Yachts and it was such a pleasure working with his team in Marina Del Rey!
What to say about these two....First, Tara and Jeff are each others best friend, it's undeniable, you can just see it. And coming from a guy who is in the midst of writing his wedding vows, it's a "Must Have" if you're going to make it together in this world!
You can tell that they've already surpassed the little idiosyncrasies (thank you, spell check) that make all of us imperfect/human, and know without a doubt that they are each other's person.
And it's a love so simple and so perfect that you can't but notice when you meet them and see them in one another's arms. They love to laugh, they love to live, and they live to be with one another!
Here are a few of our favorites with Geoff and Tara.
